There are many great knife manufacturers and they all have their appeal and purpose, but at the end of the day the primary role of the knife is to cut. Not to fit in a pocket, or have pliers, or even a Flash Drive - the best knife will not compromise. I have never been disapointed with Gerber, and neither have the TSA agents at various airports that have taken them from me.
